How To Use Majirel High-Lift

To achieve the perfect cool blonde, mix Majirel High-Lift in a 1 to 2 ratio withL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 30 volume (9%) or 40 volume (12%). For lighter bases or when maximum lightening is not required, we recommend usingL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 30 volume (9%). Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair using suitable disposable gloves, starting at the roots. Leave on for 50 minutes for optimum lightening. During this time, the colour of the mixture may change, but this is normal and will not affect the final result.

To refresh your colour, add a small amount of warm water to the remaining mixture and emulsify through the lengths and ends for the last 5 minutes of the development time. After the full development time, carefully emulsify and rinse the hair until the water runs clear. Techniques for Different Hair Types

If you have virgin hair (hair that has not been previously coloured), begin the application on the lengths and ends, leaving on for 15 minutes before applying to the roots and leaving on for a total of 50 minutes. For lengths and ends that are too light or very sensitised, use the colour in technique by applying Majirel High-Lift to the roots and leaving on for 50 minutes, then colour match the lighter ends with a corresponding DIA Light shade.

If your lengths and ends are too dark or have incompatible reflects (such as gold, copper, or too ash), use the colour out technique. To remove a shade or reflect that is up to 1 level different from the desired shade, use Efassor mixed with hot water. For a darker shade, use Efassor andL'Oreal Professionnel Cream Oxydant 20 volume (6%) or 30 volume (9%). After cleansing, apply Majirel High-Lift to the roots and leave on for 15 minutes. Then, select a suitable Majirel shade and apply to the lengths and ends, avoiding contact with the mixture on the roots. Leave on for an additional 35 minutes for best results.
